Custom Testing Equipment Battery Solutions

Custom batteries for electrical, mechanical and field testing equipment, engineered around test sequences, programmable loads, actuator peaks, data integrity and portable operating time.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The Test Program, Not the Nameplate, Defines Battery Demand

Testing equipment can move between low-power monitoring and high-current excitation, actuation or communication. Battery sizing requires the sequence, duration, repetition and acceptable voltage deviation of the real test.

WHAT TO DEFINE

Inputs for the First Testing Equipment Review

Early estimates are acceptable. Missing values can be refined through the requirements process.

01

Test program

Test stages, duration, repetitions, idle time and required tests per charge.

02

Electrical demand

Continuous load, excitation, actuation or startup peaks and acceptable voltage drop.

03

Data and controls

Processor, logging, display, communications, shutdown and status requirements.

04

Field integration

Charger, enclosure, connector, transport, temperature, vibration and ingress exposure.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS

Repeatable Test Results Require Repeatable Power Behaviour

The pack, BMS and equipment cutoff must prevent transient voltage behaviour or low-SOC events from interrupting a test or corrupting data.

01

Sequence-based sizing

Model every test stage and repetition rather than average power alone.

02

Peak-event verification

Define current, duration, recovery and temperature rise.

03

Data integrity

Coordinate low-battery warning, test completion and controlled shutdown.

04

Calibration and change control

Freeze battery limits and interface versions used for validated test results.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC BATTERY DEFINITION

Parameters Defined From the Test Sequence

No fixed reference configuration is published yet. Voltage, capacity, continuous and peak current, charging, BMS logic, communication, protection rating and mechanical interfaces can be customized for the target equipment. Final specifications are subject to the approved project definition.

Project parameterHow it is defined
System voltage & usable energyDefined from equipment limits, tests per charge and reserve.
Continuous currentBased on monitoring, processing and sustained test loads.
Peak current & durationBased on excitation, actuation, startup and programmed events.
Charge interfaceCharger voltage, current, connector and recharge workflow.
BMS & communicationProtection, status, logging and host interface as required.
EnvironmentTemperature, vibration, transport, dust and moisture exposure.
Mechanical integrationEnclosure, mounting, connector and service requirements.
Customization noteNo fixed reference configuration is published yet. Voltage, capacity, continuous and peak current, charging, BMS logic, communication, protection rating and mechanical interfaces can be customized for the target equipment. Final specifications are subject to the approved project definition.

VALIDATION & PRODUCTION READINESS

Reproduce the Real Test Program During Validation

Validation should execute representative sequences, repetitions, peak events, low-SOC operation, charging and the intended environmental boundary.

01

Prototype Verification

Electrical behavior, BMS logic, charging, communication and mechanical fit are checked against the agreed definition.

02

Application Testing

Environmental, load, runtime or interface tests are selected around the actual product risk and use conditions.

03

Certification Management

Applicable transport and market evidence is planned and coordinated for the final configuration.

04

Production Release

Approved specifications, quality criteria, test requirements and inspection reporting support controlled handoff.
