Custom Yacht & Marine Energy Battery Solutions

Custom yacht lithium battery systems for propulsion support, house loads and onboard backup, engineered around daily energy use, surge demand, charging sources, bank architecture, monitoring and marine installation conditions.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The Vessel Energy Architecture Comes Before the Battery Rating

Yacht systems may combine propulsion, hotel loads, navigation, pumps, lighting and emergency reserve with shore power, alternators, solar or generators. Load concurrency, charging sources, isolation and service strategy must be defined at vessel level.

WHAT TO DEFINE

Key Inputs for the First Engineering Review

Early estimates are acceptable. Missing values can be refined through the requirements process.

01

Energy consumers

Propulsion and auxiliary loads, hotel load, concurrency, operating hours and emergency reserve. High-voltage architecture | Voltage window, continuous and peak current, contactors, pre-charge, isolation and emergency shutdown. Charging sources | Shore power, onboard charger, alternator, solar or generator behaviour and recharge target. Vessel integration | Compartment, cooling, cabling, CAN, corrosion exposure, service access and compliance route.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS

High-Voltage Marine Systems Require Controlled Integration

Protection coordination, isolation monitoring, pre-charge, contactors, charging and thermal management must be validated with the vessel power system.

01

Chemistry & Cell Selection

Select the chemistry and cell format around energy, power, cycle life, temperature, safety and supply continuity.

02

Electrical & BMS Architecture

Coordinate series/parallel configuration, protection logic, sensing, SOC/SOH, charging and communication.

03

Mechanical & Environmental Design

Develop pack layout, enclosure, mounting, connectors, sealing, thermal approach and service access.

04

Prototype & Compliance Planning

Define the samples, tests, documentation and certification route needed before production release.

REFERENCE CONFIGURATION

Yacht and Marine Energy Reference Configuration

This configuration is a project reference, not a fixed marine product. Final voltage limits, isolation, charging and protection are defined for the vessel.

Project parameterHow it is defined
ModelST-YM-190-100 Nominal voltage | 190 V Rated capacity | 100 Ah Nominal energy | 19,000 Wh Charge voltage | / Maximum charge current | / Continuous discharge current | 100 A Peak discharge current | 150 A / 30 s Communication | CAN 2.0 Protection rating | IP65 Customization note | This is a project-reference configuration rather than a fixed catalogue product. Voltage, capacity, charge and discharge current, BMS logic, communication, protection rating, isolation and mechanical interfaces can be customized. Final specifications are subject to the approved vessel and project definition.

VALIDATION & PRODUCTION READINESS

Verify the Complete Vessel Power System

Validation should cover concurrent loads, current transients, charging sources, isolation, shutdown behaviour, thermal performance and the defined marine environment.

01

Prototype Verification

Electrical behavior, BMS logic, charging, communication and mechanical fit are checked against the agreed definition.

02

Application Testing

Environmental, load, runtime or interface tests are selected around the actual product risk and use conditions.

03

Certification Management

Applicable transport and market evidence is planned and coordinated for the final configuration.

04

Production Release

Approved specifications, quality criteria, test requirements and inspection reporting support controlled handoff.
