Energy Storage & Electric Mobility

Custom Electric Motorcycle Battery Solutions

Custom electric motorcycle battery pack solutions engineered around traction power, acceleration peaks, riding range, regenerative behaviour, charging method, thermal conditions, communication and vehicle packaging.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Route Energy, Acceleration and Charging Define the Battery

Electric motorcycles combine repeated high-current acceleration, sustained cruise demand, regenerative events and limited installation space. The battery must be matched to the motor controller, charger, vehicle voltage window, thermal conditions and required reserve—not selected from voltage and amp-hours alone.

WHAT TO DEFINE

Inputs Required Before the Pack Is Frozen

The first review converts vehicle duty into electrical, mechanical and control boundaries.

01

Vehicle duty cycle

Route distance, speed profile, gradients, payload, stop-start frequency and required reserve. Motor-controller demand | Continuous current, peak current, pulse duration, low-voltage limit and regenerative current. Charging system | Charger voltage and current, charge time, connector, interlock and charging temperature. Vehicle integration | Available envelope, mounting, cable routing, CAN or RS485 data, service strategy and target market.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS

Power Events and Heat Must Be Evaluated Together

Repeated acceleration and regenerative charging affect cell loading, busbars, BMS limits, contactors, cabling and thermal behaviour. Validation must reproduce the real vehicle profile.

01

Peak-current duration

Define current and duration from controller data rather than quoting an unsupported C-rate. Regenerative charging | Confirm reverse-current magnitude, SOC limits and BMS response during braking. Thermal behaviour | Review heat accumulation during repeated acceleration, hill climbing and high-ambient operation. Vehicle controls | Coordinate pre-charge, contactors, wake-up, fault handling and communication with the controller and charger.

REFERENCE CONFIGURATIONS

Electric Motorcycle Battery Reference Configurations

These configurations are documented project references, not fixed stock products. Only confirmed electrical and interface data are shown; unavailable values are marked with /.

Voltage, capacity, charge and discharge current, BMS logic, communication, protection rating and mechanical interfaces can be customized. Final specifications are subject to the approved project definition. *The 62 V configuration charge voltage requires final confirmation before quotation.

VALIDATION & PRODUCTION READINESS

Validate the Vehicle Duty Cycle Before Production Release

The validation plan should reproduce acceleration, hill climbing, cruising, regenerative braking, charging and high-temperature operation with the target controller and charger.

01

Electrical verification

Check voltage window, current limits, pulse duration, voltage sag and reserve under representative routes. Controller and charger integration | Verify pre-charge, contactor sequence, communication, regenerative current and charge termination. Thermal and mechanical validation | Confirm temperature rise, mounting, vibration, cable loads and enclosure behaviour on the vehicle. Production release | Freeze approved limits, interfaces, tests and traceability after vehicle-level validation.
