Usable energy
Calculate shift energy from route, payload, auxiliaries, idle demand and reserve requirements.
AGV BATTERY SYSTEMS
Stellova develops each custom AGV battery pack around route duty cycle, payload, traction peaks, fleet availability and charging windows. 48V AGV battery and opportunity charging battery configurations are engineered against the vehicle interface, charger and operating schedule.
AGV APPLICATION CHALLENGES
AGVs often operate across long shifts with repeated acceleration, steering, lifting and conveyor loads. Battery sizing must account for route length, payload, peak-current duration, charging windows and fleet utilization—not only nominal capacity.
RECOMMENDED BATTERY DEFINITION
The pack, charger and vehicle controller should be defined as one system. The final specification depends on the measured duty cycle and the operating model of the fleet.
Calculate shift energy from route, payload, auxiliaries, idle demand and reserve requirements.
Verify acceleration, grade, lifting and conveyor peaks with their duration and repetition.
Select plug-in, docking, fast or opportunity charging around fleet utilization and charger limits.
Agree protection thresholds, SOC/SOH reporting and RS485, RS232 or CAN communication with the vehicle controller.
AGV-SPECIFIC ENGINEERING
For multi-shift or 24/7 operation, charging frequency, current, rest time and thermal behavior can determine availability as much as nominal energy.
Use representative routes, payloads and congestion rather than a single unloaded route.
Confirm contact design, alignment, charge current, communication and thermal limits for repeated short charge events.
Validate motor, lift and conveyor peaks against BMS and connector limits, including pulse duration.
Specify temperature, moisture, dust, vibration and the required enclosure target; IP65/IP67 and -20°C to 60°C can be evaluated when required.
ACTUAL BATTERY CASE
This is an actual AGV battery configuration previously supplied for a specific project. It is shown as engineering evidence, not as a universal stock product. Only existing, confirmed parameters are displayed.
AGV BATTERY FAQ
The answers must be tied to the actual route, load profile, charger and vehicle-control strategy.
Combine route energy, payload, auxiliaries, reserve and charging opportunities; do not rely on nominal runtime alone.
Yes, when contact design, charge current, alignment, communication and thermal limits are validated for repeated short sessions.
Peak current, duration and repetition are measured or documented, then checked against cells, BMS, connectors and cables.
No. It is a project reference configuration; final parameters are customized and approved for the target AGV.
CUSTOMIZATION & RFQ
Share the vehicle voltage, representative routes, payload and lift loads, continuous and peak current with duration, shift schedule, charging method, controller interface, installation space, environment, compliance needs and forecast volume. These inputs define the prototype scope.
