Custom Golf Cart Battery Solutions

As a custom golf cart battery manufacturer, Stellova develops battery systems around vehicle voltage, passenger and terrain load, route length, acceleration and hill-climb demand, charging workflow, communication and installation space.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Route, Gradient and Fleet Charging Define the Battery

Golf carts and sightseeing vehicles combine repeated starts, changing passenger load, gradients and scheduled charging. The battery must support the controller current profile while preserving route reserve and charger compatibility.

WHAT TO DEFINE

Key Inputs for the First Engineering Review

Early estimates are acceptable. Missing values can be refined through the requirements process.

01

Vehicle and route

Vehicle type, distance per shift, gradients, passenger load, speed and required reserve. Controller demand | Continuous current, peak current, pulse duration, cutoff voltage and regenerative current if present. Fleet charging | Charger voltage and current, turnaround time, charging frequency and parking environment. Integration | Battery compartment, mounting, cables, contactors, CAN interface, service access and target market.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS

Fleet Availability Depends on More Than Nominal Capacity

Voltage sag, hill-climb current, charging turnaround, thermal accumulation and SOC estimation all affect whether a fleet completes its scheduled routes.

01

Route-energy margin

Size usable energy for route, gradients, payload and return reserve. Peak-current events | Validate acceleration and hill climbing with defined current duration. Fleet charging | Coordinate charger limits, turnaround time and opportunity-charging strategy. Vehicle integration | Verify contactors, pre-charge, CAN data, enclosure, mounting and service access.

REFERENCE CONFIGURATION

Golf Cart Battery Reference Configuration

This configuration is a project reference rather than a fixed stock product. Only confirmed fields are shown; unavailable values are marked with /.

Project parameterHow it is defined
ModelST-GC-72-115 Nominal voltage | 72 V Rated capacity | 115 Ah Nominal energy | 8,280 Wh Charge voltage | / Maximum charge current | / Continuous discharge current | 150 A Peak discharge current | 200 A / 30 s Communication | CAN 2.0 Protection rating | IP65 Customization note | This is a project-reference configuration rather than a fixed catalogue product. Voltage, capacity, charge and discharge current, BMS logic, communication, protection rating and mechanical interfaces can be customized. Final specifications are subject to the approved project definition.

VALIDATION & PRODUCTION READINESS

Validate the Full Route With the Target Vehicle

Vehicle-level testing should reproduce passenger load, gradients, starts, sustained travel, low-SOC operation, charging and the actual environmental boundary.

01

Prototype Verification

Electrical behavior, BMS logic, charging, communication and mechanical fit are checked against the agreed definition.

02

Application Testing

Environmental, load, runtime or interface tests are selected around the actual product risk and use conditions.

03

Certification Management

Applicable transport and market evidence is planned and coordinated for the final configuration.

04

Production Release

Approved specifications, quality criteria, test requirements and inspection reporting support controlled handoff.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO DELIVERY

One Project Lead Across Engineering and Production Coordination

Stellova leads requirements analysis, coordinates engineering and qualified production resources, manages applicable certification work, performs production quality inspection and remains the direct technical contact after delivery.
