Custom Alarm System Battery Solutions

Stellova develops outdoor alarm battery systems and long-standby security battery pack solutions around sensing, communication and alarm loads, standby targets, outage response, charging method and environmental exposure.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Standby Duration and Alarm Events Define the Battery

Alarm systems remain in low-power monitoring for long periods but must support sirens, radios, strobes and access peripherals during an incident or mains outage.

WHAT TO DEFINE

Inputs for the First Alarm System Battery Review

Early estimates are acceptable. Missing values can be refined through the requirements process.

01

Operating workflow

Supervised standby, sensor monitoring, arming, alarm activation, siren and strobe operation, notification, reset and mains-loss recovery.

02

Electrical loads

Control panel, sensors, keypads, radios, sirens, strobes and communication modules.

03

Autonomy and charging

Required standby and alarm duration, event frequency, recharge period, reserve and replacement interval.

04

Integration and environment

Panel voltage, charger, enclosure, terminals, temperature, supervision logic and applicable market requirements.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS

Standby Capacity and Alarm Power Must Be Qualified Separately

The battery must retain enough energy after the required standby period to operate alarm outputs and transmit notifications.

01

Energy model

Build usable energy from the complete operating sequence, duty cycle and reserve.

02

Peak-event verification

Define siren, strobe, radio transmission, relay and lock activation with current, duration, recovery and temperature rise.

03

System coordination

Coordinate the battery, BMS, charger, host controls and controlled shutdown or fault response.

04

Environmental boundary

Validate installation temperature, storage, enclosure ventilation and service conditions before assigning operating limits.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC BATTERY DEFINITION

Parameters Defined From the Alarm System Operating Profile

No fixed reference configuration is published yet. Voltage, capacity, continuous and peak current, charging, BMS logic, communication, protection rating and mechanical interfaces can be customized for the target equipment. Final specifications are subject to the approved project definition.

Project parameterHow it is defined
System voltage & usable energyDefined from the equipment voltage window, duty cycle and reserve.
Continuous currentBased on panel supervision, sensors, keypads and communication standby.
Peak current & durationBased on siren, strobe, radio transmission, relay and lock activation.
Charging interfaceCharger or source voltage, current, connector and available recharge window.
BMS & communicationProtection, SOC, alarms, logging and host protocol as required.
Environmentinstallation temperature, storage, enclosure ventilation and service conditions.
Mechanical interfaceEnclosure, mounting, connector, cable, handling and service method.
Customization noteNo fixed reference configuration is published yet. Voltage, capacity, continuous and peak current, charging, BMS logic, communication, protection rating and mechanical interfaces can be customized for the target equipment. Final specifications are subject to the approved project definition.

VALIDATION & PRODUCTION READINESS

Validate the Complete Alarm System Duty Cycle

Prototype validation should reproduce mains outage, full standby interval, alarm activation, notification, low-battery indication and recharge, including low-SOC operation, charging and the defined environmental boundary.

01

Prototype Verification

Electrical behavior, BMS logic, charging, communication and mechanical fit are checked against the agreed definition.

02

Application Testing

Environmental, load, runtime or interface tests are selected around the actual product risk and use conditions.

03

Certification Management

Applicable transport and market evidence is planned and coordinated for the final configuration.

04

Production Release

Approved specifications, quality criteria, test requirements and inspection reporting support controlled handoff.
