PV CLEANING ROBOT BATTERY SYSTEMS

Custom PV Cleaning Robot Battery Solutions

Stellova develops 25.6V cleaning robot battery configurations and other custom PV cleaning robot battery systems around drive, brush and control loads, route duration, charging access and outdoor operation. Heated battery pack and IP65 robot battery requirements are defined only where the final equipment and environment require them.

PV CLEANING MISSION REQUIREMENTS

PV Cleaning Robots Operate Across Heat, Dust and Long Arrays

Drive motors, brushes, water or dry-cleaning systems, control electronics and communication operate for long periods across exposed solar installations. Battery sizing must include route energy, slope, return reserve and site climate.

BATTERY DEFINITION INPUTS

Define the Route, Climate and Maintenance Strategy

Representative route, load and weather data are sufficient for the first engineering review.

01

Route and array layout

Define travel distance, slope, cleaning width, operating speed and return reserve.

02

Cleaning-system load

Provide drive, brush, pump, blower and controller demand across representative modes.

03

Site climate

Specify solar heating, ambient temperature, dust, rain, condensation and low-temperature charging conditions.

04

Charging and communication

Define charger or swap method, available downtime, RS485/CAN data and maintenance diagnostics.

OUTDOOR PV ENGINEERING

Weather Exposure, Heating and Communication Must Be Coordinated

Electrical design, enclosure integration, dust and moisture protection, low-temperature charging strategy and remote diagnostics must support field operation together.

01

Solar and ambient heat

Review cell and enclosure temperatures under direct sun, low airflow and repeated daytime operation.

02

Dust and moisture

Coordinate enclosure seams, connectors, cable exits, vents and service access with the actual exposure.

03

Low-temperature heating

Add and control a heating plate only where site temperature and charging requirements justify it.

04

Field diagnostics

Define SOC, temperature, fault reporting and communication needed for remote operation and maintenance.

PV CLEANING ROBOT BATTERY FAQ

Questions to Resolve Before Prototype Release

The final answers depend on the robot platform, array layout, climate, cleaning process and maintenance model.

01

Why are the current fields shown as “/”?

The source combines charging and discharging current without defining each test condition, so the values are not separated or guessed.

02

When is a heating plate required?

It depends on the minimum charging temperature, available energy, warm-up time and site operating strategy.

03

Can RS485 or CAN messages be customized?

Yes. The data set, message format and host-controller behavior are defined for the target robot.

04

Are these universal stock products?

No. They are confirmed reference configurations; the production battery is customized and approved for the target equipment.
